What I’m Loving Right Now #1

I thought I would share a few things that I am loving right now, from books and sermons, to products, and random things on the internet…here are some things I am loving right now.

I am reading Discipline: The Glad Surrender by Elisabeth Elliot, and it has been so profound. Such amazing thoughts from an amazing writer, I think this will end up being a reread every now and then kind of book for me.

I love The Village Church podcast, and I am loving this sermon this week about our motivations for obeying Christ through different seasons in our lives.

I am still obsessed with these Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains, they stay forever and go on so perfectly. I would be a bit embarrassed if I told you how many shades I have…but my mom has more.

Love this article “To the Lady Ashamed of being Pregnant with Her Fourth”¬†and its sweet reminder that children are a blessing.

Twitter…I have tried to get into twitter before…and I am trying again. So many people I love to follow use Twitter as one of their main social media outlets so I am trying it again…convince me to love it guys! You can find me here…come say hi!

I love this song, Though You Slay Me, the title taken from the book of Job. I love this version overlaid with John Piper preaching. It is so powerful.

What about you, what are you loving right now? Let me know in the comments, so I can check it out!

Gina Joy Burpee

That is one of my favorite songs…the humility and surrender behind it so beautiful.

Raising Up Stones

Ok, now I need the book and the lip stain! I loved that post about the four children and im going to be listening to that song often!! As for twitter, I’m with you. I just can’t quite get into it!!

Joy DiPilato

Thank you for sharing that sermon. I almost had a meltdown in the first 6 minutes when he described how obedience could sometimes feel like an all-out assault by God on my hopes & dreams. I needed to hear that it’s not always easy, not for anyone.

Laura Loewen

My friend introduced me to Though You Slay Me…awesome song on growth and pruning!
