We have literally been DYING to share with you Anastasia’s bridal session! Everything this girl does is phenomenal. She is very detailed oriented and put a lot of effort and time into planning the details for her bridal session to ensure the images reflected her vision. Anastasia specifically chose Event 1013 in Plano, TX for her bridal session because she knew the large wood furnishings and exposed brick would be a great backdrop to display her details. And we LOVE her Maggie Sottero dress in gold!
Rachel and Conner met several years ago through ROTC while they were in college. Conner is an Air Force Pilot, and Rachel is an Air Force Nurse, and they are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet. Rachel is beautiful both inside and out, and clearly got Conner’s attention! As a graduate of TCU, Rachel knew she wanted to have her ceremony at the gorgeous Robert Carr Chapel. Their wedding was fabulous. They opted to do a First Look to maximize their photo opportunities with the limited sunlight. Their reception had to be one of the best we have photographed to date. It was full of dancing and memorable moments…we will share more below. Because they are in the military, they will not be able to live in the same State for the beginning of their marriage, though we know it will be hard, we also know that their love and faith will help them get through. Rachel and Conner, thank you for allowing us to document you day…you both are great people and we pray blessings upon you and your marriage…Love, J&K.
Rachel and Conner had an evening ceremony but did not want to miss out on photos so they opted for a First Look. Be sure to check out some of the emotion in the FUSION video below.
Rachel you are simply gorgeous.
Did I mention that Rachel’s mom hand-made this gorgeous veil!!!!
Rachel and Conner paid tribute to their parents by playing each of “their songs” and let them have a dance to themselves. Precious.
All TCU Horned Frog Alumni, regardless of age!
Rachel and Conner also opted to have a “Reflection Dance.” The DJ announced for everyone to go outside for the Grand Exit and once everyone left, it was just the two of them (and us) for one final dance. The two of us and the DJ left after about 30 seconds and they had the final moment to themselves. What a great moment and memory!
It is amazing to me that several years ago we were both in Grad School, and did not know that we would be wedding photographers. It was like God fulfilled a dream that we didn’t even know we had, he gave us this amazing job at the perfect time in our lives and has allowed us to work from home and soak up all of the little moments that we get to spend with Stella and with each other. It is a reminder to me that though I worry about the future sometimes, God knows exactly what it holds. A few years ago photography was not really on our radar as a career, but God has put it in our path and blessed us abundantly. There is no reason for me to worry about the future, because I am confident that God’s plans are so much better than I could ever think or imagine.
A few weeks ago we made a trip to the Dallas Arboretum to get some photos of Stella in the pumpkin patch. We had so much fun! The Arboretum does such a fabulous job decorating for fall and when I say that there were literally thousands of pumpkins, I promise I am not exaggerating. Stella is getting so big and her personality shows through more and more each day. Love this girl!
Corina and Matt are two amazing people and their engagement session is a great reflection of that. One thing we often ask of our clients is for them to be active in the “location” choosing process for the engagement session. The reason we often suggest this is because the bride and groom can find a location that is more meaningful or unique to them, than say the random field off I-20 that the photographer chose. Well Corina and Matt found the perfect location for their session…a gorgeous local property. We must admit, at first we were like “sooo this is just a house?” But when we showed up it all made sense! The owner is old family-friend who graciously allowed us to shoot throughout her property and the sunset was just gorgeous! Corina and Matt, we had such a great time with y’all and we can’t wait for your wedding in April!!! Love, J&K.
Corina and Matt brought their dogs, and right before we set up a pose with them, they both jumped in the water! We are all about building memories on the engagement session!
