I am in love with…Guest Sign in books

Guest Sign in books are the perfect solution to the boring guestbook dilemma…seriously I love these albums. The albums are flush mount 8×8 leather bound albums and I leave plenty of open space in the design process for your guests to sign right in the album! These are definitely something that would end up on the coffee table instead of in a back closet, and are such an amazing momento from your wedding day!

Guest Sign in books are included in several of my packages and are available to be added A la Carte to any package.

Regretting we didn’t do this. We did the whole “20×20 matted picture” as our guestbook, but only two years later it no longer hangs on the wall; but a guestbook would sit next to our wedding album forever…

I always love signing these as a wedding guest knowing that the bride and groom will actually look at it in the future. Love the brown leather look you have for yours!

Oh man, should have done this lol very beautiful :)

That is a great guest book! Who does your albums for you?

What a great idea and beautiful couple of course. Are you doing the wedding too? Remind me that I want this when I call you to shoot my wedding…when that actually happens :)

Wedding Day | Jared and Jennifer

The past few weeks have been a bit crazy with moving, setting up our new house and weddings! Jared and Jennifer’s wedding was one of the three weddings that took place in the midst of the craziness. I am so happy that we finally have internet in our new house so that I can share a few photos from their wedding day.

You might remember Jared and Jennifer from their engagement session, and if you do than you know that there are always a ton of smiles with these two. When I blogged their engagement session I mentioned that I think that Jennifer is such a classic beauty, and on their wedding day Jennifer let me know that Jared has adopted the term for her, and I think it fits her perfectly. I am so happy for these two and can’t wait to see what the future holds for them.

So lovely! Great job

These picture are just gorgeous! I’m so happy for your Jennifer! (It is kinda weird seeing you touch a guy though… let alone kissing one.)

Lazy Days…sort of…

The past few days have been a mixture of insane packing and cleaning and just relaxing. Jeremy and I were pretty sure that we would have absolutly nothing to do in this vacation week before our moving day on Saturday, we were wrong. We might not be working this week, but we have kept busy with trips to Home Depot, packing lots and lots of boxes and hanging out with friends…and a trip to the beach. :)

There is just something about a trip to the beach that just makes me happy. Our trip was complete with Watermelon, Dorito’s and a few games of Rook….could it get any better? Here is a little photo via my iphone.

Looks like a good day to me!

New beginnings…

There have been so many changes in our house in the past few months and I am so excited for all that the future holds. To say that the past several weeks have been life changing is probably one of the biggest understatements ever!

At the end of March Jeremy and I found out that we are expecting our first baby and we are thrilled, but it was hard to keep it from everyone until just a few weeks ago. Needless to say our apartment has been overrun with baby books and guesses as to whether the little one is a boy or girl…any guesses?

Three weeks ago, Jeremy and I graduated with our Master’s degrees and it was great to have our families here to celebrate our accomplishment and to let them in on the little secret that we had.

On Friday, I finished my job and officially became a full time wedding photographer. I can’t even tell you how excited I am to finally be able to focus my time on what I love. I am so excited to be able to dedicate my time to helping my brides, taking pictures of fabulous people and blogging every day again.

This week is all about packing! We are moving out of our 1 bedroom apartment into our three bedroom house to make room for my office and the baby! Stay on the lookout for lots of pictures as we decorate our new home!

We are excited about all that is ahead in the next weeks and months!

In the midst of all of the busyness of the past few weeks, we shot a few weddings…Sarah and Charles wedding last week was stunning, and you should totally scroll down and see more photos of this wedding. I just had to give a quick shout out to Sarah for laying down in her dress…I love when Brides are willing to do this, and I think it totally paid off! Isn’t she stunning!

Wedding | Sarah and Charles

There are just so many things that I can say about this wedding, because it was truly an exquisit demonstration of this couple’s love for each other. There were so many details in this wedding that made it so personal for this couple.

Charles and Sarah chose to have a first look which set an amazing and relaxed tone for their entire wedding day. I can’t say how much I love when couples do this!

Their ceremony was so beautiful. One of the most memorable moments was when Sarah and Charles family had a prayer circle around the couple.  Sarah grew up in Michigan and moved to Florida and Charles grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. The two met in college and it is so amazing to see how this couple from completely different sides of the world were brought together. It was beautiful to hear Sarah’s father pray in English and Charle’s father pray in Indonesian, and to see these two couples and cultures come together.

After the reception, Jeremy and I along with Charles and Sarah headed to Fort Pickens right on the beach for a sunset portrait session…these two are some amazing models and have proved to me why I love my job. I am so excited that these two will be living in Dallas.

Sarah and Charles, Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day, it was a wonderful display of your love for each other and for your Savior. I can’t wait to see you again soon, I hope that these photos help you remember just how beautiful your wedding day was.
