The baby bump at 18 weeks…

My mom has been begging for a belly picture for a little while and I have not given in to posting a photo of me getting bigger, but when we got home from church yesterday, Jeremy told me it was time to take the first picture…and then he told me I would have to put it on my blog and Facebook. So I am being a good wife and daughter and putting the picture up. Here is me at 18 weeks, AKA yesterday. Tomorrow is the big day when we find out the gender, I have tried not to overwhelm my blog with TOO much baby news, but you will have to forgive me this week, because we are so excited for tomorrow!

Congrats! Definitely an exciting day. The day we found out we were having a boy was definitely the day things got way more “real” for me :) Good luck!

Congrats! I’m told it goes by quick so enjoy each moment

Tammy

You are too cute for words………..Love you bunches.

You look beautiful! Congratulations!!!

My Random life

I am starting a new blog series about the random happenings in my everyday life, I haven’t decided yet what day of the week these posts will usually occur, but they will basically be filled with all the adventures of my life that are usually only reserved for my Facebook Status and Tweets…so here goes…

Jeremy and I recently signed up for Netflix and have been enjoying all of the random movies and TV shows. Top on the list have been:

Glee: I can’t believe it has taken us this long to jump on board, but we love it!

Law and Order SVU: This has always been a fav of ours, but Netflix happens to have 248 episodes…this could take a while.

Our new house is getting cuter by the day, but there are definitely still things to do. My office is becoming my favorite room of the house, and I am so excited to post pictures very soon. It still needs a few more finishing touches, but I am so happy with the way things are coming together.

“Ikea is better than Disney World” that is what I told my husband last week, I am pretty sure that he thinks that a trip there costs about as much as one to Disney World, but it was worth it….and fun…right Jeremy???

Pandora…up until last week I had only ever listened to Pandora on my iPhone, and while that is great, I have just been introduced to the wonder of Pandora while I work in the pretty new office mentioned above. If you have a favorite station please leave a comment and let me know!

And because I wanted to add a few pictures…I am totally obsessed with all of the detail shots we got a few weeks ago at the piano…loving them!

I love Glee, too! And I totally love the picture of the hair pin on the piano. Such vivid color and a fantastic way to incorporate their mutual love of music. Keep us posted on the little one! ;)

I just got netflix too! I’ve been watching a movie every night almost, it’s awesome. I can’t wait to see your cute office :)

I loved Glee’s first season. I still love the singing and dancing but I feel like (at least for the first half the season) that the writing has dropped off… not much character development, not much story… but still fun.

I like your randomness… such fun

Roxanne

More amazing pictures, Kristin!! I’d love these even if they didn’t look familiar <3

IKEA IS amazing :) We’re netflix and pandora dorks, too. Can you imagine that not even all that long ago we didn’t have service like that??? It’s hard to imagine not having streaming :)

I am in love with…Pinterest

To say that I am in love with Pinterest might be an understatement. I am pretty sure that Jeremy would probably use the word obsessed.  I was introduced to the website a few months ago, and I thought that it was neat but I didn’t really catch the bug. Then a few weeks ago I was talking to my friend Rebekah and she told me that I had to try it out and she sent me an invite. A few days later I finally signed up for an account, and I fell in love.

For those that don’t know what Pinterest is, it is basically a place to find inspiration and ideas for just about everything. You can start different boards and keep things organized. I have boards for photography inspiration, ideas for my house, adorable baby things, fashion and more. You can follow other people on pinterest and see thier ideas and inspiration too. There is also a Pinterest iphone app which is probably the reason my phone runs out of battery at the end of the night.

Bride’s this is the perfect wedding planning tool, there are tons of fabulous wedding ideas on Pinterest. Actually, I can’t think of something that pinterest isn’t amazing for. Rebekah asked me a while ago if I have used any pinterest ideas in our new house…and I sure have! Can’t wait to show those soon!

You can check out my boards on Pinterest here…

Yay for pinterest friends! :)

I have it and oodles of people are following me but I don’t know how to do it yet. Isn’t that funny? : )

I don’t know whose pantry that is but I want it! Amazing… I love organization

Lol~ I want to check it out and I went to check it out and it said.. “Ugh looks like all our servers are busy. Retry after a while”

:) I LOVE Pinterest! Haha.

Kristin

Boy or Girl???

One week from tomorrow we get to find out if our little one is a boy or a girl, and we are so excited…I have nursery plans ready to be excecuted as soon as we find out the gender of our little baby. It is hard to believe that we are just about half way there and that we will get to meet our baby in just a few short months.  Everyone always asks if there is a preference, but I don’t think either one of us have a preference, we just have different reasons for being excited and different things to look forward too either way.

So does anyone have a guess??? Boy or girl??? Should I start stocking up on pink or blue? And, what is the best thing about having girls or boys?

I think you should go GREEN! Such a beautiful color and it can be used with either a boy or a girl but you can make it distinct in how you decorate!

Shelby J

I didn’t know you were expecting! Congrats! I can see you with either, but I think it’s going to be a girl.

Caitie

I agree with Shelby J! I’ve thought it was a little girl Schmucker from the very beginning! Not sure why, but there’s my vote… Stock up on colors AFTER the ultrasound! ;o) I heart you and your work!

congratulation on your preganancy – what ever it will be it will be a blessing but I will guess boy?

Roxanne

I Thought it would be a girl from the beginning. Kristin will be dressing her up sooo cute! And she will have Jeremy wrapped around her finger sooo tight ;)

Wedding Day | Victor and Megan

I can not even tell you how much I love these two. It is always a joy to shoot a friends wedding, but Megan and Victor are just so special to Jeremy and me. They are without a doubt some of the most wonderful people that I know and their wedding was ther perfect expression of the two of them.

Megan and Victor met in college, and they are perfect for each other. I have known Victor since before I met my husband and I can tell you that they are the perfect match for each other, they compliment each others strengths and weaknesses amazingly.

Because my husband was in the bridal party for this wedding, I was able to bring in a dear friend to second shoot with me. Rebekah is amazing and we had a great time shooting together. Jeremy still shot throughout the day when he wasn’t performing his best man duties, so it was great to get three perspectives throughout the day.

Megan and Victor,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Thank you so much for allowing me to shoot your wedding. You are both so important to me and Jeremy and we miss you both so much. Jeremy and I loved every minute of your wedding, and even though we didn’t follow you on your honeymoon we hope that we will see you both very soon. Come visit us!  Love you both!!!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedI love when a couple chooses to do a first look, and this one was just super sweet.undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined

Because I have so many favorites from this wedding, you can see a slideshow of more from Victor and Megan’s wedding here.

LOVE the pics! esp the ones in the slideshow!

Okay, just have to say that their “first look” was amazing…I wish everyone could have been there to experience it, but I guess that’s why it was so special…it was just the two of them (plus 3 crazy photographers, haha)…miss you both!

Tammy

You can see the joy or their faces, sooooooo cute!
