Making What Matters Happen

Yesterday I was reading o Hosea and the verse that talks about sowing to the wind. I know that I have heard that phrase before, but I don’t think I had ever really sat and thought about what it meant for my life. Specifically it made me think about how I spend my time. I can’t expect to have a thriving walk with the Lord if I spend more time on Facebook than in my Bible.  I can’t expect to be passionate about my work, if I say yes to too many things. I can’t have intentional time with Stella if I choose to work too much.

I think the act of thinking through and writing down the things that you are saying “yes” to and the things that you are saying “no” to is huge. It made me really think about what is important to me and what I want to eliminate in my life….so here it is.

Thank you for sharing this. I was just thinking about writing down my priorities down and came across this. I’ve been browsing your blog for the last few hours just reading. You are inspiring. You keep things simple. I like that.
