Lessons about dependence…

A few days ago I was thinking about just how much my little girl depends on me and how much she will depend on me when she is born for all of her needs. She does not have the things that she needs unless I provide them for her. She would not have the basic neccesitties like food, shelter and clothing unless they are provided to her by her Daddy and me. She trusts compltely that we will give her all the things that she needs.

As I think of the dependance of a child on it’s parents, I am reminded of the dependance that I need to have on my Heavenly Father. I have so much to be grateful for and I would not have any of it if it were not for the provision of my Father. Though I often try to take care of myself and I often think that I can do it on my own, I am completly dependant on my Savior to provide all of my needs. Lord, help me to always trust you, and never doubt your love and provision in my life.

Phillipians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 9:10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
