{I am in love with…made up recipes}

I have made up several recipes, but this is one that really took off. I really need a name for it, since everytime Jeremy wants me to make it he just calls it “my favorite”. So if you have a brilliant name for this let me know. If you get scared by some of the ingredients try it anyway, Jeremy doesn’t like vegetables but this is hs favorite food. I was trying to decide what to make for dinner tomorrow night for friends that are coming over and I decided this was it.  Here is what you will need:

Boneless, skinless chicken breast ( I change how much I use based on how many people I am cooking for)

1 zuchinni

1 squash

6 potatoes

handful of asparagus (optional)

about 12 baby carrots halved

1 packet Lipton Savory Herb and Garlic soup mix (use 2 if making a large batch)

1/3 cup olive oil

1/3 cup water

Slice all vegetablesMix chicken,vegetables, oil, water and soup mix in baking dishBake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, stir and bake for 15 minutes.I was going to take pictures of it on the plate, but Jeremy was too anxious to eat it!

[…] say a little prayer that it will somehow taste good. A few months ago I blogged about one of our favorite recipes that I made up, that we call The Favorite. Last week I decided to try to make something […]
