The Orchard :: Alyssa and Blake :: Dallas Wedding Photography

We have been looking forward to Alyssa and Blake’s wedding for months now and we were so happy to be a part of it. Alyssa and Blake’s vintage wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale. Everything was perfectly planned and every detail was thought of. From their lovely outdoor ceremony at The Orchard to the gorgeous and unique vintage centerpieces on each table it was a gorgeous wedding.

The best part of the day was, however was definitely Alyssa and Blake. Though they grew up very close to each other, it wasn’t until the both moved several hours away to attend Baylor University that the two met. A friend said that she knew the two would get married some day and she was right. The ceremony was lovely and when the Best Man, Matron of Honor, and the Father of the Bride gave toasts during the reception, I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. They talked about how perfect Alyssa and Blake are for each other. Alyssa’s Dad talked about how for years he has prayed for the man his daughter would marry and Blake was so much more then he even thought to pray for. The whole day was a testament to the love that Alyssa and Blake have for each and the love that all their friends and family have for them.

Alyssa and Blake, Thank you so much for allowing us to be a part of your day, and for not only being our clients, but our friends. We look forward to hearing all that God has in store for your lives together.  We hope you are having a fabulous time in Antigua!

 

There were so many lovely details. Blake’s mom put together all of the center pieces and each table had a different center. So many beautiful vintage details!!!

Alyssa and Blake did not do an official first look, but they did hold hands before the ceremony. They could not see each other behind this large tree, and it was SOOO cute. Love it…

Alyssa did however did a “first look” with her dad. He patiently had to wait outside to see her for the first time in her dress and Alyssa wrote a beautiful note for him. After he was done reading the note, she signed the love note using her (now) maiden name for the last time. And the water works begin!!!!!

The Orchard is such an amazing venue! There are scores of acres for beautiful portraits and we gladly soaked up the golden sun at sunset while the guests enjoyed cocktail hour.
